About the 298th District Court
The 298th is a civil district court in Dallas County. It hears business and contract disputes, employment cases, property and construction cases, insurance disputes, and personal injury cases. Because it sits near the end of the ballot, many voters never reach it. Texas ended straight-ticket voting in 2020, so every race, including the judicial races, has to be marked on its own.
